Ravenol VSG SAE 75W-90 is a high-performance gear oil for MINI R53 gearboxes and differentials that see more than just daily use. In normal driving it provides long-term reliability, while on track it resists the heat and shear that can make thinner oils break down. Unlike many 75W-90 oils, VSG is both API GL-4 and GL-5 compatible, which means it protects the brass synchronizers in the Getrag gearbox, a critical factor for smooth and durable shifting.

Built with Ravenol’s USVO® technology and PAO synthetic base oils, VSG resists foaming, maintains viscosity under load, and forms a stable oil film even when the gearbox runs hot. Friction modifiers make it suitable for limited-slip differentials (plate or gear type), so one oil can serve both the gearbox and LSD setups without chatter.
