The TPE Precision Charge Pipe Kit is engineered to eliminate a major airflow restriction within the R53 intake system. The factory charge pipe limits performance, even on engines with ported cylinder heads, upgraded camshafts, or larger throttle bodies, because the true bottleneck sits between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. By optimizing flow in this critical area, the TPE charge pipe allows the engine to breathe more efficiently, resulting in improved performance on both stock and heavily modified setups.

Design & Construction

Unlike traditional cast or bent tubing, the TPE charge pipe is 3D printed using industrial-grade HP technology, allowing for an optimized internal shape and controlled wall thickness that cannot be achieved through conventional manufacturing.

The pipe is produced from Nylon 12, a fuel- and oil-resistant material with a continuous operating temperature above 140°C, ensuring reliability under high-load conditions and long-term durability in the R53’s demanding engine bay environment.
