The OEM charge pipe on the R53 is a known restriction within the intake system.
Even heavily modified engines with ported cylinder heads or upgraded camshafts remain limited by this factory component, as the true bottleneck lies between the intake manifold and the cylinder head.

Restricted airflow reduces efficiency and directly limits power output.
Improving flow in this area is key to unlocking the engine’s full performance potential.

The TPE Precision Charge Pipe Kit is engineered to eliminate this restriction and allow the engine to breathe more efficiently, resulting in improved airflow and increased power output.
The kit performs exceptionally well on both stock and modified engines, regardless of throttle body or airbox configuration.

Unlike traditional cast or bent tubing, the TPE charge pipe is 3D printed using state-of-the-art industrial HP technology.
This allows for an optimized shape and wall thickness that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.
It’s made from Nylon 12, a fuel- and oil-resistant material, with a continuous operating temperature above 140°C.
