Ravenol RSE SAE 10W-50 is a fully synthetic, race-proven motor oil designed for engines that operate far beyond stock limits. Positioned above HST and VST, it is the ultimate step for heavily modified builds and dedicated track cars, delivering the protection needed when engines face constant high loads, RPM, and extreme heat.

Using Ravenol’s USVO® technology, RSE blends PAO base oils with ester components and tungsten additives for maximum stability and load capacity. The ester content improves adhesion to metal surfaces, ensuring lubrication even under start-stop or high-G conditions, while tungsten reduces friction and supports consistent power delivery. With a high ZDDP package (1070 ppm) to safeguard cams and valvetrain components under high spring loads, an exceptionally high HTHS viscosity (5.3 mPa·s) to maintain film strength at racing temperatures where thinner oils fail, and a strong TBN reserve (11.9 mg KOH/g) to control acids, RSE delivers the endurance and reliability needed for serious motorsport use.

The 10W-50 grade offers the best of both worlds for high-output engines: rapid lubrication during cold starts (10W) and a heavier 50-weight body at operating temperature, giving extra protection against oil thinning under extreme track heat and sustained high RPM.

Note: For street or mildly tuned setups, Ravenol HST 5W-40 or VST 5W-40 are more suitable choices. RSE SAE 10W-50 is specifically engineered for motorsport and extreme performance use.
