Direct replacement for the OEM dual-mass clutch.

The mass of the flywheel is simply split into two parts. One part remains part of the engine’s mass moment of inertia, while the other part increases the mass moment of inertia of the transmission. The two decoupled masses are connected by a damper, which helps equalize the speed difference. As a result, the transmission is easier to shift and experiences less synchronization wear.
