1. Introduction and applicability

1.1. This Warranty Policy sets forth the terms and conditions under which warranty claims may be
made with respect to products and services provided by 4REVISION ENGINES.
1.2. This Warranty Policy constitutes an integral and enforceable part of the contractual relationship
between the customer and 4REVISION ENGINES. It must be interpreted in conjunction with the
company’s General Terms and Conditions and carries equal legal weight within that contractual
framework. In all matters not explicitly covered herein, including, but not limited to, force majeure,
limitations of liability, and governing law, the applicable provisions of the General Terms and
Conditions shall prevail and apply in full.
1.3. By purchasing, installing, or using any product or service offered by 4REVISION ENGINES, the
customer acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by the provisions contained in this Warranty
Policy.
1.4. This warranty applies strictly and exclusively to the original purchaser of the product or service
and is non-transferable under any circumstances. It covers only products and services obtained
directly from 4REVISION ENGINES or through its authorized partners, unless explicitly agreed
otherwise in writing.
1.5. In the event of any inconsistency between this Warranty Policy and the General Terms and
Conditions, the provisions of this Warranty Policy shall prevail, but only with respect to matters
concerning warranty rights, obligations, and procedures.
1.6. In case of conflict between the translated versions of this Warranty Policy and the original English
version, the English version shall prevail.

2. Warranty coverage

2.1. This warranty covers only defects in materials or workmanship that arise under conditions of
normal and intended use, as solely determined by 4REVISION ENGINES. “Normal use” excludes, but is
not limited to, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, racing, and
any form of high-performance application.
2.2. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the standard warranty period is twelve months or
10,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first. The warranty period begins strictly on the invoice date as
stated on the original sales document issued by 4REVISION ENGINES. No extensions, suspensions, or
deferrals shall apply unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by 4REVISION ENGINES. This does not
limit or affect any mandatory rights that consumers may have under applicable law.
2.3. Warranty coverage under this policy applies exclusively to fully assembled engine units or
reconditioned services (such as long blocks or cylinder heads) performed by 4REVISION ENGINES.
It covers only the workmanship and assembly tasks directly carried out by 4REVISION ENGINES and
explicitly excludes all materials and parts used during the build. For details, see Sections 4.3 and 4.4.
2.4. To qualify for warranty coverage, the engine or assembly must be installed, used, and maintained
strictly in accordance with all applicable technical documentation, guidelines, and specifications
issued by 4REVISION ENGINES and/or the original manufacturers of the individual components used
in the build. If no instructions are issued by 4REVISION ENGINES, the manufacturer’s guidance shall
apply. Failure to comply with any such instructions shall result in immediate forfeiture of warranty
rights.
2.5. The customer shall be required to provide valid proof of purchase as a condition for initiating any
warranty claim. In addition, upon request, the customer must allow for reasonable inspection of the
product by 4REVISION ENGINES or its authorized representatives prior to any warranty assessment,
resolution, or remedy being considered.
2.6. Any repair, replacement, or corrective action performed under this warranty shall not renew,
extend, or reset the original warranty period, regardless of the nature of the defect, the remedy
provided, or the time elapsed during the repair process.
2.7. Warranty coverage under this policy applies only to the following engine and configurations
unless otherwise agreed in writing: 4RSTD, 4R250, 4R300, and associated cylinder heads. Custom
builds or other configurations are excluded from warranty unless explicitly specified.

3. Eligibility requirements

3.1. Warranty coverage shall be void if the product has been installed, assembled, altered, or
modified, either mechanically or electronically, by the customer or any unauthorized person or party.
3.2. Warranty is only valid if the complete engine assembly has been performed exclusively by
4REVISION ENGINES. Any engine that is partially assembled, self-assembled, or built by a third party
shall void the warranty.
3.3. The customer is required to perform the full engine break-in procedure as provided by
4REVISION ENGINES. Failure to follow this procedure in full, or any deviation from the specified
instructions, shall immediately void the warranty.
3.4. The engine must be professionally and correctly installed into the vehicle in accordance with the
installation specifications provided by 4REVISION ENGINES. Any incorrect fitting, misalignment, or
deviation from these specifications shall void the warranty.
3.5. The customer must provide verifiable documentation proving that the engine was installed by a
licensed or certified professional automotive workshop. If such documentation cannot be provided
upon request, the warranty shall be void.
3.6. The customer is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all servicing and maintenance
activities and shall provide these records upon request. To remain eligible for warranty coverage, all
scheduled servicing, oil changes, and inspections shall be performed by qualified professionals and in
accordance with the instructions issued by 4REVISION ENGINES.
3.7. Warranty coverage is strictly conditional upon full and timely payment for any product or service
subject to warranty. Any outstanding balance, overdue payment, or unresolved invoice shall result in
suspension of all warranty rights until full payment has been received. No remedies or claims shall be
accepted during this suspension period

4. Exclusions and limitations

4.1. The exclusions and limitations set forth in this Warranty Policy shall apply to consumer purchases
only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply,
such limitations shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with those legal requirements.
4.2. This warranty does not apply to any engine or product used in motorsports, track events, racing,
performance testing, or any similar high-stress application. Such products are used under extreme
conditions, often beyond standard tolerances, and are therefore sold as-is, without performance or
durability guarantees. They must be installed and used entirely at the customer’s own risk. These
exclusions apply regardless of vehicle type, usage duration, or installer expertise. This clause does not
override any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
4.3. This warranty does not extend to any individual components, subassemblies, or materials used
during engine assembly, regardless of whether they were supplied by the customer or sourced by
4REVISION ENGINES. Such parts, including but not limited to pistons, bearings, gaskets, valves, seals,
sensors, and fasteners, are manufactured and quality-controlled by independent suppliers or original
equipment manufacturers (OEMs). 4REVISION ENGINES provides no warranty, whether express or
implied, for the performance, durability, or suitability of these components.
4.4. In the event of failure of any such component, it is the customer’s sole responsibility to initiate
and pursue a warranty claim directly with the original manufacturer or supplier, in accordance with
their applicable terms and procedures. The inclusion of these components within an engine
assembled by 4REVISION ENGINES shall not be construed as an extension, endorsement, or
assumption of any warranty obligation by 4REVISION ENGINES regarding their performance,
durability, or fitness for purpose.
4.5. Products obtained via unauthorized resellers, online marketplaces, third-party platforms, or grey
market sources are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage, regardless of origin or content.
4.6. Consumable or wear components such as gaskets, seals, lifters, and rocker arms, are excluded
from warranty coverage unless explicitly agreed to in writing. These parts are inherently subject to
degradation due to normal usage, thermal cycling, and time.
4.7. Auxiliary systems including but not limited to fuel systems, ignition systems, electronic sensors,
wiring, and cooling components, are not covered under this warranty. These systems fall outside the
scope of the core engine assembly (such as long block or cylinder head units) and are beyond the
control and responsibility of 4REVISION ENGINES.
4.8. ECU tuning, programming, remapping, chip modification, or similar software adjustments are
permitted only if performed by a certified and recognized tuning specialist. The customer must retain
verifiable documentation of the work performed and shall provide such documentation upon
request. 4REVISION ENGINES reserves the right to inspect, analyze, and evaluate the calibration or
tuning file. If, upon review, the tuning is found to be improperly executed or outside acceptable
operating parameters, warranty coverage shall be voided in its entirety.
4.9. Casting-related defects—including, but not limited to, porosity, surface irregularities, or inherent
structural flaws in cylinder heads, engine blocks, or similar cast components—are excluded from
warranty coverage unless such issues were explicitly documented by both parties and acknowledged
in writing prior to product delivery.
4REVISION ENGINES does not provide any warranty for the integrity of original castings used in the
engine assembly. These castings are often more than 20 years old and may exhibit age-related
material fatigue, internal corrosion, or microfractures that are not detectable through standard visual
or mechanical inspection. The natural degradation of these components over time is beyond the
control of 4REVISION ENGINES and shall not be considered a warranty-covered defect under any
circumstance.
4.10. This warranty does not extend to any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, damages, or
expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, towing costs, storage fees, vehicle downtime, rental
charges, labor expenses, or loss of income resulting from a component failure or repair-related delay,
regardless of foreseeability.
4.11. 4REVISION ENGINES shall not be held liable for any damage, loss, or delay occurring during the
transportation or shipping of goods, whether inbound to or outbound from the customer. All transit
related risks remain solely with the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any claims for
shipping damage must be pursued directly with the carrier by the customer.
4.12. The total liability of 4REVISION ENGINES under this warranty, whether arising in contract, tort,
or otherwise, shall in no event exceed the original net purchase price paid by the customer for the
specific product or service in question, excluding VAT, delivery fees, and any related charges. This
limitation applies to any warranty remedy, including repair, replacement, or refund.
4.13. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, no guarantees or warranties, express, implied,
statutory, or otherwise, shall apply beyond those explicitly stated in this Warranty Policy. This
includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose, or non-infringement.
4.14. This warranty does not apply to any damage resulting from improper tuning, incorrect
combustion, detonation, pre-ignition, or abnormal cylinder pressures regardless of who performed or
authorized the tuning. Such conditions are considered a form of misuse under this Warranty Policy.
Common indicators of such damage include, but are not limited to: scuffed piston skirts, lifted
cylinder heads, burned or crushed head gaskets, melted or broken pistons, eroded combustion
chambers, bent wrist pins, or worn wrist pin bushings.
4.15. Warranty coverage is excluded for any damage caused by improper transmission installation,
misaligned clutch components, or incorrect fitment of the flywheel or pressure plate, regardless of
who performed the installation. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to the crankshaft thrust
bearing originating from the transmission side or any related drivetrain stress imposed on the engine
assembly.
4.16. Warranty coverage shall be void if the vehicle’s odometer has been disconnected, tampered
with, replaced, or otherwise altered in a manner that prevents the accurate verification of engine
mileage. In such cases, the burden of proof shall rest with the customer to establish actual distance
traveled.
4.17. Damage resulting from the reuse or failure to replace contaminated oiling components is
explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. This includes, but is not limited to, the oil pump, oil
cooler, pickup tube, oil jets, oil-driven AVCS cam gears, screened banjo bolts, oil lines, and any other
lubrication-related components applicable to the engine configuration. Proof of replacement shall be
required upon request.
4.18. No warranty shall apply to engine damage resulting from external impact, vehicle collisions,
shipping damage, or the introduction of foreign objects or substances into the engine—regardless of
how such materials were introduced. This includes, but is not limited to, debris, fluids, or water
entering the intake, combustion chamber, or crankcase. Such conditions are deemed external causes
and are excluded from warranty coverage.
4.19. No warranty shall apply to any engine, component, or assembly where used, worn, or
customer-supplied parts have been reinstalled at the request or instruction of the customer. The use
of such components including but not limited to valves, pistons, rods, springs, or camshafts, shall be
entirely at the customer’s own risk and responsibility, and is excluded from all warranty coverage.

5. Warranty claim procedure

5.1. All warranty claims must be submitted directly to 4REVISION ENGINES in writing and in
accordance with the procedure outlined in this section. Claims submitted through third parties,
resellers, intermediaries, or service agents will not be accepted or processed unless expressly
authorized in advance by 4REVISION ENGINES.
5.2. 4REVISION ENGINES reserves the exclusive right to assess, diagnose, and remedy any warranty
issue before the customer undertakes any repair, servicing, or claim for compensation. No refunds,
replacements, or reimbursements shall be provided without prior written approval from 4REVISION
ENGINES. Unauthorized repairs, disassembly, or modifications may void the warranty in its entirety.
5.3. Warranty claims must be reported in writing within five (5) business days after the date the
defect was first discovered. Failure to report the issue within this timeframe shall be grounds for
denial of the claim. The customer bears the burden of proof to establish when the defect was
discovered and to justify any delay in notification.
5.4. If, upon inspection, 4REVISION ENGINES determines that the defect arose due to customer
misuse, negligence, improper installation, or violation of any warranty condition, all related costs
including, but not limited to, inspection, handling, labor, shipping, or administrative fees, shall be the
sole responsibility of the customer. Payment for such costs may be required prior to the release or
return of the product.
5.5. The customer must fully cooperate with the warranty evaluation process by providing all
requested information, documentation, and reasonable access in a timely manner. This includes, but
is not limited to: purchase receipts, installation records, service history, technical specifications, and
photographic or video evidence. The burden of proof rests with the customer, and any claim lacking
sufficient documentation or cooperation may be denied.

6. Warranty evalution and RMA procedure

6.1. All warranty claims approved for evaluation must be initiated directly with 4REVISION ENGINES
and are subject to the assignment of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to any
further action.
To request an RMA, the customer must complete the official Inspection Form (PDF) and submit it
along with a copy of the original purchase receipt to: support@4revisionengines.com. No product
returns will be accepted or processed without a valid RMA number issued by 4REVISION ENGINES.
Once the RMA is issued, the customer is responsible for all shipping, packaging, and handling costs to
return the engine or affected component(s) to 4REVISION ENGINES’ facility for inspection.
6.2. Upon arrival, 4REVISION ENGINES will conduct a complete disassembly and technical inspection
of the returned unit to assess whether the failure resulted from: (a) a manufacturing defect, (b)
improper assembly, (c) component failure, (d) tuning error, or (e) incorrect installation.
Final eligibility for warranty coverage shall be determined exclusively by 4REVISION ENGINES. The
customer acknowledges that teardown findings are final, non-negotiable, and binding. No warranty
remedy including repair, replacement, or reimbursement, shall be issued without successful
completion of this evaluation and written approval from 4REVISION ENGINES.
6.3. All warranty-related returns must be shipped or delivered to the address provided in writing by
4REVISION ENGINES at the time of RMA approval. Products sent to any other address without
authorization may not be accepted or processed.
The customer is responsible for ensuring proper packaging, insurance, and tracking of the shipment.
4REVISION ENGINES is not liable for loss or damage during return transit unless otherwise agreed in
writing.
6.4. In the event that a warranty claim is validated following inspection and approval by 4REVISION
ENGINES, the company shall retain the exclusive right to determine the appropriate remedy. At its
sole discretion, 4REVISION ENGINES may: (a) repair the defective product or service, (b) replace it
with a functionally equivalent item, or (c) refund the original net purchase price (excluding VAT and
shipping costs).
No other remedies shall apply unless explicitly agreed in writing. The customer shall not perform or
authorize any third-party repairs or replacements without prior written approval from 4REVISION
ENGINES. Any such unauthorized action shall void all warranty obligations.

7. Evidence and inspection rights

7.1. Before accepting any warranty claim for evaluation, 4REVISION ENGINES reserves the right to
request sufficient preliminary evidence from the customer. This may include, but is not limited to,
photographs, video recordings, written reports, service records, or installation invoices. Failure to
provide such documentation may result in rejection of the claim prior to review.
7.2. Any product showing signs of tampering, broken warranty seals, unauthorized disassembly, or
unapproved internal inspection shall be automatically disqualified from warranty coverage. This
includes any interference, mechanical or electronic, by the customer, a third-party technician, or any
other unauthorized individual. Such findings, whether identified during shipping, handling, or
teardown, may result in immediate and permanent denial of the warranty claim.
